Asbestos Risk Assessments.

Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012 requires duty holders (owners / occupiers) to ensure that a suitable and sufficient assessment is carried out as to whether asbestos is present, the duty holder will determine the risk, prepare a plan identifying the asbestos, and specify the measures to be taken to manage the risks.

Where asbestos containing materials are located, the materials must be regularly inspected to ensure the material is not damaged or interrupted.

Asbestos surveys and risk assessments in all company locations are conducted by a competent external assessor, and their records are held on Safety Portal.
