Handling Risk Assessments.
Regulation 4 of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 requires employers to, as far as reasonably practicable, avoid the need to undertake manual handling operations.
Where it is not reasonably practicable to avoid the need for manual handling the employer shall undertake a suitable and sufficient risk assessment of all such manual handling operations, and to take steps to avoid risk to his employees.
The risk assessments below cover all standard manual handling tasks in the business.
Note
The Manual Handling Risk Assessment sign off sheet is combined with all other "Secondary" assessments, and should be completed once only for all secondary risk assessments.
You should read all "Secondary Assessments" BEFORE completing the sign off checklist
