Expectant mother risk assessments will be completed individually by line managers for all mothers on their formally notifying the company of their pregnancy. The timing of such notification will be at the sole discretion of the expectant mother, but at the latest will be at the submission of their MATB1 form.

The assessments will continue to be reviewed at least monthly during their pregnancy and during the first year of their return to work if this is within 12 months of the birth.
